Si bien no es posible hablar de la ausencia de una dimensión política en la Poética, resulta innegable el hecho que existe una evidente asimetría entre esta obra y los dos últimos libros de la Política respecto a la consideración de los aspectos pedagógicos y políticos que necesariamente comportan las artes miméticas. Mediante el presente trabajo intento probar que esta desigualdad es inherente al modo en que Aristóteles concibe a las artes miméticas y que a través de ella, se pone de manifiesto la originalidad de su pensamiento en este aspecto.
Although it is not possible to speak about the absence of a political dimension in the Poetics, it is undeniable the fact that exists an evident asymmetry between this work and the two last books of the Politics with regard to the consideration of the political and pedagogical aspects that the mimetic arts necessary involve. By means of this work, I attempt to prove that this dissimilarity is inherent to the way in which Aristotle conceive the mimetic arts and through it, reveals the originality of his thinking in this respect.
