El desarrollo del embrión de la tenia solium y muchísimo más raramente de la saginata, en la intimidad de los tejidos del hombre, constituye la cisticercosis humana. De todas maneras, se trate de uno u otro agente, es una afección que puede considerarse, a juzgar por la escasa bibliografía nacional, como muy rara en nuestro medio. No vamos a detenernos en el estudio parasitológico completo ni abordar en detalle las diversas fases evolutivas de los cestodes, sólo nos concretaremos a hacer una breve referencia sobre estos aspectos.
The authors informa a case of “cellulosae cysticercus” with subcutaneous localization. According to known statistics, we find this human cysticercosis in the 6 % of cases; it is uncommon. It is almost impossible to make its diagnostic by only clinical examination and among the means which we may considerer to recognise this disease we find: intradermo reaction with hydatid liquid (group reaction) ; eosinophile in the blood and obtainment of liquid by puncture. Biopsy allows better to affirm the diagnostic The localization of this subcutaneous disease and the number of elements which formed it, was 8.
