A new genus, Mariacris, and a new species M. viridipes are described and figured, from Southern Bolivia and Northwestern of Argentina, belonging to the tribe Dichroplini, and Nahuelia anthracina n. sp. is described and illustrated from Aysen, Chile, representing the most austral species of the genus which belongs to the Jivari group.
