Nuevos aportes a la dinámica local-estatal en el sitio arqueológico Villavil (Hualfín, Catamarca, Argentina)

El presente trabajo expone información preliminar de las actividades realizadas en el sitio arqueológico Villavil, ubicado al norte del valle de Hualfín, Belén, Catamarca, sobre una meseta aluvial a 1850 msnm. Hasta el momento no hay fechados radiocarbónicos. Sin embargo, el tipo de emplazamiento y su arquitectura correspondería a un asentamiento del Periodo de Desarrollos Regionales (900/1000 d.C-1470 d.C.). A su vez los materiales cerámicos encontrados en superficie evidencian presencia incaica. Por otra parte, una de las estructuras halladas en el sitio presenta un trabajo de cantería, evidente en algunos sitios incaicos encontrados en el Noroeste Argentino (NOA). Este aporte permitirá contribuir a la comprensión de la estrategia empleada por los incas al momento de la incorporación de nuevas posesiones de áreas urbanizadas y su interland territorial.
This paper presents preliminary information of the recent activities on the archaeological site calls Villavil, located at the north of Hualfín valley, Belén, Catamarca, on an alluvial plateau at 1850 meters. Although so far there is no radiocarbon dated, architecture and planning correspond to a settlement of the Desarrollos Regionales Period (900/1000 dC - 1470 dC). At the same time, ceramics found in surface show Inca presence. On the other hand, one of the structures found at the site presents a work of stone, evident in some Inca sites found in the Argentine Northwest (NOA). This contribution will allow contribute to the understanding of the strategy used by the Incas to the time of the incorporation of new urbanized areas and its interland territorial possession.
