Resumen: Se presentan los elementos fundamentales del proceso más breve ante el Obispo (cánones 1683-1687 del Motu proprio Mitis Iudex), poniendo en evidencia todos los detalles necesarios para su correcta aplicación, respondiendo a tres preguntas: quién es el juez competente de este proceso, cuándo puede aplicarse este proceso, y cómo debe hacerse. Se agrega al final la ayuda que puede prestar a la aplicación de este proceso la investigación previa dispuesta en los primeros artículos de las Reglas de procedimiento de Mitis Iudex.
Abstract: The basic elements of the Briefer process before the Bishop (canons 1683-1687 of the Motu proprio Mitis Iudex) are presented here, highlighting all the details necessary for its correct application. Three questions and answered: who is the competent judge of this Process, when this process can be applied, and how it should be done. At the end, it is added the assistance that the prior investigation provided in the first articles of “The way of proceeding” of Mitis Iudex can give for the application of this process.
