La figura de Michel de Certeau es frecuentemente asimilada a Michel Foucault por múltiples razones, en particular como una suerte de salvoconducto para introducir y comprender comparativamente la obra del poliédrico jesuita dentro de la escena intelectual contemporánea. El presente trabajo indaga en la pertinencia de esta asociación desde los textos que el propio De Certeau realizó sobre la obra de Foucault, intentado relevar de qué modo la “operación certaliana” se acerca y se separa de la “operación foucaultiana”.
The figure of Michel de Certeau is frequently associated with Michel Foucault for multiple reasons, as a kind of safe conduct to introduce and comparatively understand the work of the polyhedral Jesuit within the contemporary intellectual scene. The present work investigates relevance of this associations from the texts that De Certeau himself produced on Foucault's work, attempting to reveal how the “Certalian operation” approaches and separates itself from the “Foucaultian operation.”
