El rol de la Pastoral Universitaria en el Pacto Educativo Global

El Pacto Educativo Global (PEG), propuesto por el papa Francisco desde 2019, puede convertirse en un espacio propicio para el trabajo de la pastoral universitaria. La diversidad y la pluriculturalidad de las instituciones de nivel superior, especialmente en el contexto latinoamericano, sus redes de trabajo existentes, y su ser particular dentro de la Iglesia Católica, pueden resignificar la educación al servicio, en las líneas propuestas por ese Pacto. Nos proponemos entonces reconocer cómo la pastoral universitaria aporta en el logro de los objetivos del Pacto Educativo Global, tanto a nivel institucional como en el contexto de América Latina y el Caribe, a través de la articulación y el trabajo colaborativo e interinstitucional de redes.
The Global Compact on Education, proposed by Pope Francis since 2019, can become a favorable space for the work of university ministry. The diversity and pluriculturality of higher-level institutions, especially in the Latin American con-text, their work networks, and their particular being within the Catholic Church, can redefine service education, along the lines proposed by that Compact. We pro-pose here to recognize how university ministry contributes to the achievement of the objectives of the Global Compact on Education, both at the institutional level and in the context of Latin America and the Caribbean, through the articulation and collaborative and inter-institutional work of networks.
