This project was developed in the city of General Roca, Río Negro province, with the objective of proposing a design for a new Intermodal Bus Terminal. The initiative stems from an analysis of the existing terminal, whose location in the heart of the city generates numerous problems, compromising the efficiency of public transportation and affecting long-distance and intercity buses connecting the cities of the valley most significantly. The problem arises when these vehicles enter the city center to access the current terminal, causing delays and operational difficulties that impact mobility and the efficient development of public transportation. This project aims to facilitate regional connectivity, optimize travel times, and reduce congestion in the city center. The proposal is based on the design and planning of a new building in a strategically selected location, determined through a comprehensive urban analysis. This study considers infrastructural aspects, understanding the city's axes, urban growth trends, road connections, and the site's viability in order to guarantee an effective solution to the current problems. The new terminal will seek to optimize transportation operations, ensuring accessibility and efficiency in travel.
El presente trabajo se desarrolla en la ciudad de General Roca, provincia de Río Negro, con el objetivo de plantear una propuesta de diseño para una nueva Estación Terminal de colectivos Intermodal. La iniciativa surge a partir de un análisis referido a la terminal existente, cuya ubicación en pleno centro de la ciudad genera múltiples problemáticas comprometiendo la eficiencia del transporte público, afectando en mayor medida a los colectivos de larga distancia y los colectivos interurbanos que conectan las ciudades del Valle. La problemática se da al momento en que estos vehículos ingresan al casco urbano para acceder a la terminal actual, provocando demoras y dificultades operativas que afectan la movilidad y el desarrollo eficiente del transporte público. Con este proyecto, se busca facilitar la conexión regional, optimizar los tiempos de traslado y reducirla saturación del centro. La propuesta se basa en el diseño y planificación de un nuevo edificio en una ubicación estratégicamente seleccionada a partir de un análisis urbano integral. Este estudio considera aspectos infraestructurales, entender los ejes de la ciudad, tendencias de crecimiento urbano, conexiones viales y la viabilidad del emplazamiento con el fin de garantizar una solución efectiva a la problemática actual La nueva terminal buscará optimizar la operatividad del transporte, garantizando accesibilidad y eficiencia en los desplazamientos.
