Desde la edad prehistórica hasta nuestros días, la religión ha convivido con el hombre y la humanidad. Frente a ella, se pueden dar diversidad de opiniones y posiciones, e inclusive negarla, pero su existencia no se puede objetar. Al reflexionar sobre el fenómeno religioso, es ineluctable, al mismo tiempo, reflexionar sobre Dios. En la esencia de lo religioso, lo divino se nos presenta como objeto de estudio.La sociedad posmoderna o contemporánea ha dado un giro fundamental en la ma-nera de interpretar filosófica y teológicamente el fenómeno religioso. Alejada de la Edad Media y más cercana a la Edad Moderna, es, sin embargo, de un pensamiento y lenguaje distintos. El sesgo de la posmodernidad no es ya la muerte de Dios, o al menos no lo es en sen-tido ateo; es, a nuestro entender, una hermenéutica de la muerte de Dios que nos conduce hacia movimientos teológicos divergentes y nuevas filosofías de la religión. Y, colateralmente, se da el nacimiento de religiones de reemplazo, en un mundo en el que el cristianismo se ha tornado pluralista, hasta llegar a proponer un cristianismo sin religión.La presente ponencia es una lectura del cambio que se ha producido de la trascendencia de Dios y de la religión clásica a la inmanencia de fines del siglo xx y xxi, en donde la impronta de lo Sagrado ha desaparecido, siendo el proceso de secularización la idea nueva de entender a Dios y la religión.
From the prehistoric age until our days religion has coexisted with men and humanity. Upon it you can give diversity of views and positions and even deny it, but its existence is not objectionable. Reflecting on the religious phenomenon, it is inevitable at the same time to reflect on God. In the essence of the religious the divine is presented to us as the object of study. Postmodern or contemporary society has given a fundamental shift in the way of interpreting philosophically and theologically the religious phenomenon. Away from the Middle Ages and closest to the Modern Age, it is, however, of a different thought and a different language.the bias of the postmodernity is no longer the death of God, or at least not in the atheist sense; it is, in our view, a hermeneutic of the death of God that leads us towards divergent theological movements and new religious philosophies. And collaterally, it brings about the birth of religions of “replacement”, in a world where Christianity has become pluralistic.this paper is a reading of the change in the transcendence of God and the immanence of the 20th and 21st century classical religion, where the imprint that has ocurred in the sacred is gone and the process of secularization has become the new idea of understanding God and religion.
