El presente artículo constituye la primera parte de un trabajo más extenso, en el que intentaremos explicitar algunas claves interpretativas de la guerra entre Rusia y Ucrania a partir del estudio de sus causas, tanto las que surgen del escenario bilateral como del regional y global. Para cumplir con ese objetivo, buscaremos las principales causas de la guerra desde un abordaje histórico, identitario y geopolítico, desde la Rus de Kiev hasta la implosión soviética en 1991.Dejaremos para la segunda parte otros factores trascendentales que tienen que ver con las relaciones entre Rusia, Ucrania y Occidente en la Posguerra Fría y en el escenario de guerra actual, donde, además de las causas mencionadas, ahondaremos también en otro tipo de factores más coyunturales para poder interpretar el conflicto.
This article constitutes the first part of a more extensive work, in which we will try to explain some interpretive keys of the war between Russia and Ukraine from the study of its causes, those that arise from the bilateral scenario, as well as from the regional and global ones.To meet this objective, we will look for the main causes of the war from a historical, identity and geopolitical approach, from the Kievan Rus to the Soviet implosion in 1991.We will leave for the second part other transcendental factors that have to do with relations between Russia, Ukraine and the West in the Post-Cold War and in the current war scenario, where, in addition to the causes mentioned, we will also delve into other types of more circumstantial factors to be able to interpret the conflict.
