Neocontractualismo y liberalismo político: el acuerdo racional y sus críticas

El objetivo de este artículo consiste en exponer ciertos principios relevantes de la teoría rawlsiana y de sus críticos, para esbozar una respuesta teórica en términos neocontractualistas al problema de la exclusión social en Argentina y Latinoamérica. Presentamos los planteos más importantes en Teoría de la justicia y de Liberalismo político de John Rawls. Consideramos las críticas más significativas provenientes de ciertas partes del propio liberalismo, del comunitarismo, y finalmente, del republicanismo. Esto nos ayuda a sopesar las distintas propuestas, descubrir su complementariedad –cuando la hubiera– y así arribar a un “sentido común” de las teorías de la justicia.
This article aims to present some of the most relevant principles in Rawls theory and its critics, in order to bring a neocontractualist response to the problem of social exclusion in Argentina and Latin America. We work with the central ideas in Theory of the Justice and Political Liberalism. We consider the major critics to Rawls theories from some sectors of the liberalism itself, the comunitarism and, finally, from the republicanism. In that way, can determine the value of the different proposals, reveal if they complement each other, and reach a “common significance” of the justice theories.
