El transfeminismo no es un humanismo: Cruces entre animalidad y género

En el presente trabajo pretendemos argumentar que el transfeminismo no es un humanismo, es decir, que no puede consistir en una ampliación del proyecto humanista que conserve intactas las estructuras de exclusión y privilegios que distribuye. Antes bien, el transfeminismo ha de ser un antiespecismo y el antiespecismo ha de ser un transfeminismo, si ambos movimientos pretenden potenciar sus luchas contra toda forma de opresión. El artículo se despliega en los siguientes momentos: en primer lugar, sostenemos que el feminismo antiespecista clásico reproduce la matriz cisheterosexual al estudiar la conexión entre las opresiones desde una perspectiva binaria del género; en segundo lugar, mostramos que las reflexiones de diversas teorías con respecto al género (ecofeminismos, teoría queer y Estudios Trans*) pueden contribuir a que el feminismo antiespecista aborde cómo el sistema de opresión cisheterosexual se articula con el régimen especista; en tercer lugar, reflexionamos sobre el problema del sujeto político del (trans)feminismo desde una perspectiva antiespecista y poshumana; por último, proponemos pensar, a partir de posibles articulaciones entre las luchas LGBTIQA+ y las luchas antiespecistas, un transfeminismo antiespecista latinoamericano a través del cual establecer diferentes alianzas políticas que nos permitan proyectar otras formas de vida, deseos y modos de habitar el mundo.
In this paper we argue that transfeminism is not a humanism, i.e. that transfeminism cannot be an extension of the humanist project that keeps intact the structures of exclusion and privilege that it distributes. Rather, transfeminism must be antispeciesism and anti-speciesism must be transfeminism, if both movements are to strengthen their struggles against all forms of oppression. The article unfolds in four moments: first, we argue that classical anti-speciesist feminism reproduces the cisheterosexual matrix by studying the connection between oppressions from a binary gender perspective. Secondly, we show that reflections on gender from diverse theories (ecofeminisms, queer theory and Trans* studies) can contribute to antispeciesist feminism by addressing how the cisheterosexual system of oppression articulates with the speciesist regime. Thirdly, we reflect on the problem of the political subject of (trans)feminism from an antispeciesist and posthuman perspective. Finally, we propose to think, from sites of possible articulations between LGBTIQA+ struggles and anti-speciesist struggles, a Latin American anti-speciesist transfeminism through which to establish different political alliances that would allow us to project other forms of life, desires and ways of inhabiting the world.
