Dilemas, paradojas y afectos en torno a la ciudadanía: Relecturas al pensamiento de Mary Wollstonecraft

El presente artículo se propone recuperar los escritos de Mary Wollstonecraft desde la historia, el género y los afectos con el objetivo de tensionar las interpretaciones que se han hecho de la autora desde el movimiento y la teoría feminista sobre la vía maternalista hacia la ciudadanía de las mujeres. En este sentido, y a partir de retomar la diversidad de sus escritos se busca problematizar el dilema Wollstonecraft propuesto por Carole Pateman, matizando el aspecto dilemático en los escritos de la pensadora ilustrada vinculados a la diferencia sexual y la maternidad.
This article aims to analize the writings of Mary Wollstonecraft considering history, gender and the affect theory. The objective is to cope with interpretations that have been made about the author from the feminist theory and movement based on the maternalist path towards women's citizenship. In this sense, and by revising the variety of her writings, we seek to problematize the Wollstonecraft Dilemma proposed by Carole Pateman, reducing the “dilemma” in the works of this enlightenment thinker, which are linked to sexual difference and motherhood.
