Relaciones entre CNR (Italia) y CONICET (Argentina): Notas para una historia

CNR and CONICET have a partially shared history, both chronologically and thematically and institutionally. In this paper I will deal with only one aspect of institutional relations, which is becoming increasingly important in the process of scientific production: the joint research projects. Although scientific institutions of all countries have always tended to establish contacts and formal exchange networks of variable amplitude and complexity, the modality of joint projects is much more recent, and it could be said that, at the level of Europe-Latin America relations, it is barely 30/40 years old, that is to say, it has begun to be implemented when the system for the countries with the most homogeneous scientific production was already moderately consolidated.
El CNR y el CONICET tienen una historia parcialmente compartida, tanto cronológica como temática e institucional. En este trabajo me ocuparé solamente de un aspecto de las relaciones institucionales, que va cobrando cada vez más importancia en el proceso de producción científica: los proyectos conjuntos de investigación. Si bien las instituciones científicas de todos los países, han tendido siempre a establecer contactos y formar redes de intercambio de diversa amplitud y complejidad, la modalidad de los proyectos conjuntos es mucho más reciente, y podría decirse que, a nivel de las relaciones Europa-América Latina tiene apenas 30/40 años de antigüedad, es decir, ha comenzado a implementarse cuando estaba ya medianamente consolidado el sistema para los países de producción científica más homogénea.
