La contemporaneidad de lo mítico y la mirada extrañada: Sobre las lecturas de Proust de Theodor W. Adorno y Siegfried Kracauer

A obra narrativa de M. Proust tem sido não apenas objeto de reflexões, mas também um ponto de referência constante para as reflexões teóricas e críticas de Kracauer e Adorno. Na primeira, dos ensaios sobre a República de Weimar aos últimos tratados Teoría del cine e Historia. Las últimas cosas antes de las últimas, a ficção do escritor francês fornece elemen-tos importantes para uma conceituação do sujeito histórico e para uma exploração da mo-dernidade tardia e seus suportes artísticos mais característicos. Em Adorno, a incidência de Proust é notada não apenas nos vários ensaios incluídos nas Notas sobre literatura, mas também em obras mais estritamente filosóficas, como a Teoría estética ou as Lecciones sobre dialéctica negativa. O objetivo do artigo é relacionar as interpretações de Proust desenvol-vidas por Kracauer e Adorno a fim de mostrar suas afinidades, mas também, e sobretudo, suas divergências, colocando-as ao mesmo tempo em relação à sua evolução teórica.
M. Proust’s narrative work has not only been the subject of reflections, but also a constant point of reference for the theoretical and critical reflections of Kracauer and Adorno. In the first, from the essays on the Weimar Republic to the late treatises Theory of film and History. The last things before the last, the French writer’s fiction provides important elements for a conceptualization of the historical subject and for an exploration of late modernity and its most characteristic artistic media. In Adorno, the incidence of Proust is noticed not only in the various essays included in the Notes to literature, but also in more strictly philosophical works, such as Aesthetic theory or the Lectures on negative dialectic. The purpose of this article is to relate the interpretations of Proust developed by Kracauer and Adorno in order to show their affinities, but also, and above all, their divergences, placing them at the same time in relation to their theoretical evolution.
