El artivismo transfeminista anticlerical en Buenos Aires: ARDA y sus apropiaciones simbólicas del fuego

A partir de una mirada construida desde los estudios culturales, la pregunta central de este texto girará en torno al papel simbólico que desempeña el fuego en los discursos y performances feministas artivistas. Dentro del espectro de grupos y acciones, se enfoca en tres performances de ARDA, colectiva artivista feminista, realizadas en la ciudad de Buenos Aires: la primera, en el obelisco el 8 de marzo de 2019 (día del Paro Internacional de Mujeres), la segunda, frente a la catedral el 3 de junio de 2018 durante la marcha Ni Una Menos (NUM) y la tercera, una intervención sorpresa realizada el 3 de julio de 2022 dentro de la iglesia del Pilar. Se analizan las apropiaciones del fuego en las acciones artivistas, su plasticidad y algunas de sus múltiples significaciones y se enlazan estas apropiaciones que mantienen ciertos lazos con el imaginario religioso, con representaciones de carácter rotundamente anticlerical. ARDA, fue creada en 2016 por clodet garcía (poeta, dramaturga, actriz y activista gorda y lesbofeminista), durante un tiempo difícil en Argentina, y procuró irrumpir en el espacio público mediante acciones y ritualizaciones grupales para despertar la conciencia de las diversas feminidades y disidencias sexo-genéricas frente a la Iglesia como ideóloga de la violencia y la opresión junto con el sistema hétero-patriarcal y, a la vez, ayudar a liberar algunas de las cargas de experiencias traumáticas de las participantes de la colectiva. Las fuentes indagadas son diversas: performances, poemas, posteos, entrevistas, fotografías, videos, etc.
From a perspective built from cultural studies, the central question of this text revolves around the symbolic role that fire plays in artivist feminist discourses and performances. Within the spectrum of groups and actions, it focuses on three performances by ARDA, feminist artivist collective, carried out in the city of Buenos Aires: the first, at the obelisk on March 8, 2019 (the day of the International Women’s Strike), the second, in front of the cathedral on June 3, 2018 during the Ni Una Menos (NUM) march, and the third, a surprise intervention carried out on July 3, 2022 inside the Pilar church. The appropriations of fire in artivist actions, its plasticity and some of its multiple meanings are analyzed and these appropriations that maintain certain ties with the religious imaginary are linked with representations of a strongly anti-clerical nature. ARDA was created in 2016 by clodet garcía (poet, playwright, actress and fat and lesbian feminist activist), during a difficult time in Argentina, and sought to break into the public space through group actions and ritualizations to raise awareness of the various femininities and gender-sex dissidences against the Church as an ideologue of violence and oppression together with the hetero-patriarchal system and, at the same time, help to release some of the burdens of traumatic experiences of the participants of the collective. The sources investigated are diverse: performances, poems, posts, interviews, photographs, videos, etc.
