A new species of the spider genus Actinopus Perry 1833 from Northwestern Argentina is described — Actinopus goloboffi sp. nov. This is the second species described from he genus in the country. Detailed morphological descriptions of both sexes, illustrations and geographic distribution of the new species are presented.
