La obra de Aristóteles presenta una peculiar fórmula (hó pote ón) que tiene sólo diez ocurrencias en todo el corpus aristotelicum, la cual no sólo es extraña en el lenguaje aristotélico y en su sintaxis, sino también en su interpretación. En la presente «Nota crítica» realizaremos un análisis de la fórmula hó pote ón en la Physica de Aristóteles, a partir del tratamiento filosófico de la naturaleza del tiempo (chrónos). Proponemos revisar la interpretación standard de dicha fórmula y proponemos una nueva interpretación para el caso de su ocurrencia en 223a27.
The Aristotle’s works show a unusual formula (hó pote ón) that has only teen occurrences in the whole corpus, which is not only foreign to the Aristotelian language and syntax, but also in its interpretation. In this «Critical Note» will make an analysis of the formula hó pote ón in the Aristotle’s Physics, from the philosophical treatment of the nature of time (chrónos). We propose to revise the standard interpretation of this formula and propose a new interpretation for the case of its occurrence in 223a27.
