Four new species of Selenops (Araneae, Selenopidae) and comments on the distribution of Afrotropical species

Additional material of Selenopidae from Afrotropical region was revised and four new species were found corresponding to Madagascar, Southern Africa and Ivory Coast. Selenops ivohibe sp. nov. (only female) from Madagascar, S. tonteldoos sp. nov. (only female) from South Africa, S. onka sp. nov. (only female) from Namibia and Angola and S. jocquei sp. nov. (only female) from Ivory Coast are described and illustrated. The global distribution of the Selenops genus from Afrotropical region is shown based on all published data.
